Estimate On Police Facility Above Council’s Goal

Chillicothe officials continue to work on finalizing the plans for a new Police Facility.  City Administrator Roze Frampton says the construction manager and architects hope to have a guaranteed maximum price.  The council had set a goal of $7.2 million for the project.

The total project cost is right now at $7.8 million.

Frampton says they hope to go out to bid on the project in a couple of months.

Probably late October, with bids due in late November.

The city is also working on financing and will hear from Joey McLiney in September.
