The Grand River Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will have its annual Dinner/Auction on September 14th at the Litton Ag Center. Tim Reger says Ducks Unlimited is an organization that helps to preserve and maintain wetlands.
Started in 1939 and preserved 17 million acres of wetlands.
Eric Reeter says the Grand River Chapter holds the banquet as a fundraiser.
There will be games and an auction that includes KC Chiefs memorabilia.
In addition, there will be several hunting-related items and a kids auction.
Tickets are available by calling Reger at 660-247-5596 or Reeter at 660-646-8147. The cost is $60 for a couple or $40 for a single. Kids 12 and under are free.
