Nearly 190 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday and Wednesday. The calls include traffic stops, business checks and animal control calls.
Tuesday:
At 2:29 a.m., Officers took a report of a deceased person in the 2900 block of N. Washington St. The Coroner was called and the investigation is ongoing.
At 3:09 p.m., Officers arrested a 22-year-old male for operating a motor vehicle while driver’s license suspended/revoked in the 800 block of S. Washington St. following a traffic stop. The man was processed and released pending a court appearance.
At 3:24 p.m., Officers responded to a man going door-to-door on Brennan Dr. The man was conducting door-to-door sales without a permit. He agreed to stop until the proper permits could be obtained.
At 6:11 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash on private property in the 400 block of Park Ln.
At 6:34 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash in the 1400 block of Trenton Rd.
At 8:44 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of property damage in the 1000 block of Graves St.
Wednesday
At 7:38 a.m., Officers responded to a possible burglary in the 800 block of Jansen Ave.
At 10:46 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a well-being check in the 100 block of N. Washington St. Officers responded and discovered it was a homeless male who was trespassing at a business after hours. He left without incident.
