Eighty-two calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Tuesday. Some of the calls include assisting the fire department with medical calls and responding to disturbance calls.
At 6:47 a.m., Officers arrested a 43-year-old man on a Livingston County warrant for stealing. The man turned himself in at the Police Department. He was unable to post the required $5,000.00 cash-only bond and was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.
Animal Control calls were handled by the Animal Control Officer.
Officers followed up on continuing investigations.
At 1:44 p.m., Officers were dispatched to suspicious activity and possible trespassing in the 1500 block of Litton Rd. Officers responded and they agreed to leave.
At 3:11 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible child abuse/neglect in the 300 block of Fifteenth St. Officers were assisted by Livingston County Children’s Division. The investigation continues.
At 6:17 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Webster St.
