A deputy at the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department has been promoted to Sergeant. Taylor West was promoted effective September 1st. Sergeant West began serving with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department as a deputy in May of 2022.
A press release states West has become an invaluable asset to the office and the citizens of Livingston County. Taylor is a leader among her peers and is an extremely proactive law enforcement officer who has routinely been complimented.
She excels at traffic enforcement and being a Field Training Officer for new deputies. Earlier this year, West received the L.E.T.S.A.C. Officer of the Year award for her efforts and dedication to traffic safety.
