Chillicothe Police For Wednesday

Ninety-seven calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.

At 9:27 a.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 400 block of Locust St.

At 9:58 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driver heading toward Chillicothe from the North.

At 11:14 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash on US 36 at US 65.  Officers responded and discovered there was no crash but a disabled vehicle blocking the driving lane.

At 3:00 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible illegal burning in an alley between Walnut and Cherry St.’s. Officers responded and discovered the person was burning unapproved materials. The person agreed to extinguish the fire. Officers were assisted by the Chillicothe Fire Department.

At 3:57 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Alexander St.

At 5:49 p.m., Officers took a report of a dog bite and dogs running at large at Third and Cherry St.’s. The information will be forwarded to the ACO for follow-up.

At 9:35 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driver in the 1000 block of S. Washington St. Officers responded, located the vehicle and contacted the driver.

At 10:23 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible counterfeit money in the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.
