Two crashes in Daviess County Friday morning left drivers with minor injuries.
At about 7:30 am on US 69 near Winston, 81-year-old Markay T. Agust of Altamont was westbound and a deer struck the driver’s side of her vehicle, leaving her with minor injuries. She was treated at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
At about 11:30 am on Highway 6 and 190, north of Jamesport, a two-vehicle crash left one driver with minor injuries. State Troopers report that 42-year-old Kevin D. Berry of Trenton was turning westbound onto 190 from Highway 6 and struck the eastbound tractor driven by 39-year-old Randall Bears of Blythdale. The report states Berry struck the tractor with the driver’s side mirror. He was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment of minor injuries. He was wearing a safety belt.
