Friday,
At 04:34 pm Officers took a report of child endangerment as a 30-year-old male subject informed Officers that he was homeless and could not provide his three children suitable living conditions. Officers collaborated with Children’s Division and were able to take the children into protective custody and later placed the children with family members to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children.
Saturday,
At 07:38 am Officers responded to the 1100 block of Polk Street for a 34-year-old man unlawfully entering the home and refusing to leave. He had left before Officers arrived but was later located and arrested pending charges for 1st degree burglary and resisting after attempting to flee from Law Enforcement. The man also had an active Livingston County warrant.
At 09:36 am Officers responded to the 800 block of Washington Street for a motor vehicle accident. Information was taken for the accident report and one was arrested and cited for driving while suspended.
Sunday,
At 10:18 am Officers responded to the 1100 block of Calhoun Street for a child calling 911. Officers were able to speak to a parent and the child and verified everything was fine.
Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
