Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

One hundred calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday.  The calls include:

At 9:16 a.m., at the Police Department, Officers arrested a 19-year-old male for possession of child pornography following an investigation. The male was processed at the Police Department and transported to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.  He has since been charged in Associate Court.

At 1:17 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible person in crisis in the 100 block of Trenton Rd. Officers responded and the person was transported to a hospital by ambulance.

At 2:31 p.m., Officers arrested a 49-year-old man for driving while suspended and possession of a controlled substance.  A 45-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for passing bad checks out of DeKalb County. Both were transported to the Police Department.  The woman posted bond and was released.  The man was later released pending further investigation.

At 4:02 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a wellbeing check in the 300 block of Calhoun St. Officers responded, located the person and assisted them.

At 4:53 p.m., Officers arrested a 39-year-old man in the 400 block of Walnut St on Livingston County warrants for failure to appear for nonsupport and expired plates. The man was unable to post bond and was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.

At 5:13 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury motor vehicle crash in the 900 block of N. Washington St. Officers responded and a report was taken.

At 7:58 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a fire in a backyard in the 800 block of Broadway St. Officers responded and discovered the fire was contained, monitored and no violations were occurring.

At 9:25 p.m., Officers took a report of one juvenile displaying a firearm to another juvenile after an argument in a residential area. Officers will be conducting follow-ups with the juveniles, their parents, and the Livingston County Juvenile Office. The incident did not occur during school hours or on school grounds.
