The Chillicothe Police Department report for the weekend includes numerous calls for service, investigations, and arrests.
Friday:
10:22 AM – Officers took a walk-in complaint of possible check fraud relating to a vehicle sale.
11:07 AM – Officers responded to a trespassing complaint at in the 1300 block of Monroe St. A woman was told to leave the property.
11:55 AM – Officers responded to theft at a business in the 200 block of Washington St. Video evidence was obtained and a report was taken.
8:59 PM – Officers and EMS responded to a medical emergency in the 1500 block of Bryan St involving an unresponsive 60-year-old woman. Medical personnel handled the situation.
Saturday
1:35 AM – Vehicle failed to yield at Woodward St and Polk St, leading to pursuit. The person resisted arrest once stopped and a Taser was deployed. The pursuit ended at the 800 block of Jefferson St with a man taken into custody for DWI. He was taken to Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold pending charges.
Sunday
1:32 PM – Officers conducted a traffic stop at Cherry St and Calhoun St. Resulting in one arrest for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The person was then transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges.
3:40 PM – Officers responded to a report of a missing 6-year-old autistic child from 200 block of Montgomery St. Child located at the Polk St. Bridge and returned home.
7:08 PM – Officers and EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident at 400 block of Webster St. One vehicle was towed.
