The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report of incidents and activities for April includes several investigations and arrests.
April 6th, deputies responded to LIV-2364 West of Chillicothe for a vehicle on fire. The investigation showed juveniles had been mudding in a pickup that ended up catching on fire. Due to the road conditions the Fire department was unable to reach the pickup and the truck was a total loss.
April 9th, a deputy took a report of harassment in the 100 block of South Grant Street in Wheeling. A suspect allegedly verbally threatened the victim. Formal charges were to be submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
April 19th, deputies responded to the 24000 block of LIV-387 on a report of hay bales on fire. The victim reported an extended cab, metallic silver pickup with a camper shell leaving at a high rate of speed. Estimated losses totaled $3,750.
April 26th, LCSO responded to the 8000 block of LIV-239 for a disturbance. The investigation revealed an alleged violation of a full order of protection. A report was submitted for formal charges.
April 29th, deputies responded to the 10,000 block of LIV-228 for a domestic disturbance involving threats of a weapon. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 18-year-old Christian Slaughter of Chillicothe, for alleged domestic assault and property damage. He was held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.
Arrests:
April 18th, 38-year-old, Courtney Anderson of Kansas, was arrested on U.S. Highway 36 near LIV 251 on a Livingston County warrant and a Clinton County warrant for traffic related charges. Anderson posted bond on both warrants and she was released.
April 22nd, 43-year-old Nicole Baker of Wheeling, was arrested on an active Livingston County arrest warrant for stealing at the Livingston County courthouse. Baker was processed and released.
April 27th, 41-year-old Sherry Childress of Kansas City, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license on U.S. 26 near LIV 255. Childress was released on summons.
April 28th, 23-year-old Hunter Thornsberry of Parkville, was arrested for traveling 96 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. 36 near Utica. Thornsberry was released after posting $250 cash bond.
April 28th, 22-year-old Stephan Griffin of St. Louis, was arrested for traveling 96 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on U.S. 36 near LIV 413. Griffin was released after posting $250 cash bond.
