The School Board also approved the 2019/20 school calendar. Superintendent Dr Roger Barnes says the first day of school will be August 19th.
Barnes says that means all of the holidays listed on the calendar, including Martin Luther King Jr Day will be protected days off and will not be changed due to weather related closings.
