Very cold air and strong winds will make anytime spent outside the next couple of days very uncomfortable. National Weather Service Meteorologist Chris Gitro says be prepared to bundle up if you are heading out.

Audio PlayerWith windchills of 25 below, frostbite is possible in as little as 15 minutes. If you must be outside, make sure you cover as much skin as possible. If you suspect you are experiencing frostbite, hold the frostbitten area closely against warm skin to return blood flow and warmth to the affected area. Do not warm the area too quickly. If you continue to have problems, contact your doctor.
There is a light at then end of the weather tunnel this week, Gitro says the weekend will bring warmer weather.
