Missouri’s December Jobs Report

The State’s Jobs report for December shows non-farm payroll increased by 11,200 jobs, private industry employment increased by 8,400 jobs, and government employment increased by 2,800 jobs.

Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained steady at 3.7% in December.  That is 4/10 of a point higher than the same period in 2023.

The monthly unemployment report with a breakdown by county will be released on January 31st.
