Chillicothe police responded to 79 calls for service Wednesday and assisted motorists where needed.
8:25 am, Officers and Emergency Services responded to a home in the 1000 block of Walnut Street on a report of a person acting strangely. The person was determined to be in need of assistance for possible mental issues and was transferred to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment and evaluation.
9:35 am, Officers responded to 1210 Washington Street for a private property accident involving three vehicles. There were no injuries and minor damage sustained.
12:14pm, Officers were called to Hedrick Medical Center to assist with an unruly patient. The patient was calmed down.
3:35pm, Officer assisted a homeowner in the 1200 block of Green Street after a water pipe had broken. Officer was able to get water shut off and Municipal Utilities was notified.
