Five starting players return this year from the 2017 Chillicothe Girls Tennis Conference Championship team. With that much talent, Coach Amanda Marsh hopes to continue the tradition of being one of the great pubic school programs in the state.
In the last 30 years, under four different Head Coaches, the Lady Hornets have won the MEC title 15 times and have placed second 12 times. They’ve won 14 district titles, qualified as a team for the state tournament 19 times and sent countless players to the singles and doubles state tournament.
So what makes the program so successful? Coach Marsh says that success breeds success.
