The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Cross Country team won the St Joseph Lafayette meet on Tuesday
Chillicothe’s Kadence Shipers was the overall girls champion in a time of 24:21. Emma Burk was 6th, Callaway Chapman 11th, Kathryn George 18th, Emery Evans in 27th Mayanna Weed in 29th and Emma Bernskoetter in 31st place,
Liberty boys won the team title with Chillicothe 7th. Hayden Simmer was 13th, Logan Asher 21st, Peyton Forck 33rd, Eric Kleinschmidt 55th and Nathan Toole 67th.
In the shorter Freshman Boys and JV girls races, Stephen Parkes was 2nd, Brady Bernskoetter 3rd, Tristan Forck 5th and Conner Douglas 8th.
In the JV Girls race Olivia Lamp was 9th, Grace Bligh 11th and Kiera Bosley 12th.
