An accident Thursday morning in the 1200 block of North Washington left one driver injured. Chillicothe Police report the accident happened about 7:40 am as a vehicle driven by 17 year old Allen W Eakins of Chillicothe was pulling from a private driveway to go north.
Fifty-seven year old Geraldine W Huston of Chillicothe was southbound was hit on the side by the Eakins vehicle as it pulled from the driveway. The vehicles came to rest blocking the northbound lanes of Washington Street.
The report states Huston complained of head, neck and chest pain and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center. Eakins was not injured, but he was cited for failure to yield.
