The Maryville Boys Tennis Team beat Chillicothe 7-2 in a meet in Maryville. Chillicothe managed just one doubles win and one singles win in the Varsity contest.
In doubles play for Chillicothe Tyler Maasdam and Noah Crowe lost 4-8.
Brendon Nelson and Colten Johnson lost 3-8 while Seth Batye and Gavin Sampsel picked up an 8-3 win for Chillicothe.
In singles play Tyler Maasdam picked up the only Chillicothe singles win by an 8-6 score. Losing for Chillicothe were Noah Crowe 3-8, Brendon Nelson 4-8, Seth Batye 1-8, Colten Johnson 4-8 and Gavin Sampsel 2-8.
In Junior Varsity doubles play for Chillicothe: Grahm Mayers and Caleb Corbin lost 2-6, Tyler Black and Chace Corbin won 6-0, Spencer Maasdam and Carson Anderson won 6-2, Tucker Hathcock and Warren Meservey lost 2-6. Ben Cueni-Smith and Remington Gillespie lost 6-7, losing the tie breaker 1-7 and Tyler Huffman and Alex Web lost 1-6.
