The Chillicothe Boys Tennis Team was honored at their annual banquet Thursday night. The team finished with a 500 record and finished right behind a three way conference championship tie.
Hornets Tennis Coach Bob Long said it was a good season.
Chillicothe’s #1 singles player and senior Tyler Maasdam will compete in the MSHSAA State Singles Tournament later this month.
Long called the team “A great group of kids with great character.”
Long normally does not present individual awards, but did present a new award called the “Leave a Mark” Award to Maasdam for giving back to the program and the community.
