CHS Volleyball Season Ends

The Chillicothe Hornet Volleyball Team ended their season with a record of 7 wins and 11 defeats after they lost to the Cameron Dragons 25-18, 27-25, 17-25, 15-25, 7-15 in district competition. Coach Bob Long, in his first year as Head Volleyball Coach for Chillicothe said “despite the loss, the Hornets pushed the Dragons to 5 sets, after losing three straight last week.” He said the seniors played amazing in their final outing.
In individual statistics Kayanna Cranmer had 4 aces. Delanie Kieffer had 6 kills, 7 aces and 8 digs. Izzie Montgomery had 1 ace and 1 dig, Clara Leamer had 2 kills, 2 digs and 1 block.
Ella Leamer had 1 ace and 9 digs; Maya Snyder had 6 aces, 5 kills, 16 assists and 4 digs.
Anna Fisher had 7 aces, 5 kills and 3 digs; Jessica Reeter with14 assists, 4 aces and 6 digs.
Gracie West had 3 aces, 6 blocks, 10 kills and 1 dig; Makayla Vance had 5 digs.
Essie Hicks with 4 aces, 11 kills, 1 assist and 9 digs; Halle Hill with 1 assist and Trista Tipton with 1 dig.

The District Semifinals are Tuesday the 27th at Cameron.
