A delay in scheduled off-season maintenance will require the closing Chilli Bay Water Park on Wednesday. The new playground for the Chillicothe Elementary School is progressing. The new equipment is being installed across the road on the east side of the new construction. Much of the equipment is in place, with additional work to be completed before the start of the new school year.
Chillicothe R-II School District parents who will have a student riding the bus are reminded the registration deadline for transportation services for the 2024/25 school year is July 12th. Registration can be done online by following this link. https://www.chillicotheschools.org/page/transportation Early registration allows the district to plan the bus routes for the upcoming school year.
