Eighty-four calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Monday. Some of the calls include:
At 2:01 p.m., Officers responded to possible illegal dumping in the 300 block of Park Ln.
2:38 p.m., Officers were called for a disturbance in the 1300 block of Springhill St. Officers took a report of assault. A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.
At 5:53 p.m., Officers took a report of child abuse and neglect in the 1800 block of Clay St. The investigation is ongoing.
At 6:40 p.m., Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Eleventh St. A 24-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault. He was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center pending the filing of formal charges.
At 6:58 p.m., Officers took a report of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Ryan Ln. at S. Washington St.
Officers also handled numerous animal control calls, spoke with residents, and handled well being checks.
