A new E911 Dispatcher was hired as part of the Chillicothe City Council executive session.  The Council approved the hiring of Jamie Eckert at $17.00 an hour as a Full-Time E911-Dispatcher, effective August 10th. No other actions were taken in executive session.

Albany Man Arrested By State Troopers

An Albany man was arrested by State Troopers in Harrison County Wednesday.  Thirty-five-year-old Nicholas R. Mercer was arrested at about 7:05 pm for alleged possession of a controlled substance – Methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  He was taken to the Harrison County Jail.
