The Chillicothe Police booked a 55-year-old Breckenridge man into the Caldwell County Detention Center on a Probation Violation Warrant. Sterling Joe Blakeley was on probation following the conviction for Possession of a controlled substance. The probation Violation Warrant was issued in March of 2023 and carries a bond of $20,000 cash only.

Economic Development Tax To Be On Trenton’s April Ballot
A proposed Trenton Economic Development Sales Tax will go to the voters in April. The Trenton City Council approved placing the item on the ballot after the discussion Monday evening. The proposed ½ of 1% sales Tax is expected to generate $400,000 per year and the proposal includes a 10-year sunset.
