Karen L. Corzette Hamilton 82, of Chillicothe, MO passed away on December 8, 2024 at Hedrick Medical Center. Karen was born on September 10, 1942 to parents Abie and Bertha P. Moore Corzette. She graduated from Wheeling High School class of 1960, then was an Employee for Omaha Mutual, Parents Cooperative School, Jeddah Saudi Arabia, she then worked at Chillicothe Animal Hospital for 38 years, she loved that job. Karen Married Larry L. Hamilton on May 21, 1988 at Pleasant Grove Church in Chillicothe.
Karen’s hobbies were Sewing and Embroidery she enjoyed embroidering so much that her and Larry opened Hamilton Dancing Bears Embroidery and did that for several years.
Karen is survived by her Husband Larry, Children; Lonnie and Tammy Toot of Chillicothe, Mo., Travis and Brenda Toot of Chillicothe, Mo., Terri and Pate Smith of Davenport, IA., and David and Angie Hamilton of Meadville, Mo. 14 Grandchildren, 11 Great grandchildren and Sister Barbara McKinley.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers; Robert, Virgil, William (Bill), Kenneth, and Edwin several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and special ones in her life like Dana Wooding, Maddie Hamilton, Nacy Ann Hamilton, and Lacey Lou Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers memorials in honor of Karen can be made to Forrest O. Triplett Memorial Animal Shelter and for Alzheimer’s Association.
A Visitation will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Wheeling Cemetery.
Services are under the care of Heritage Funeral Home.
