Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

The weekend report for the Chillicothe Police Department includes 230 calls for service from Friday through Sunday.

 

Friday, September 5th – Officers investigated several fraud and scam complaints, a hit-and-run crash, and a reported vehicle fire on Business 36. A runaway juvenile was located and returned home, and detectives arrested a woman in connection with a child abuse case.

 

Saturday, September 6th – Police worked multiple traffic crashes, including one with minor injuries near Washington and Locust. Officers also responded to a parking complaint, a reckless driving report, and investigated a leaving-the-scene accident.

 

Sunday, September 7th – Police resolved a hit-and-run case, responded to a domestic disturbance on Samuel Street, and freed an injured woman who had fallen into brush near the railroad tracks. Later, officers assisted an intoxicated woman found inside a homeowner’s garage, getting her home safely.
