Eighty-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday.

Among the incidents, officers handled a commercial alarm on Henry Street. A possible case of animal neglect on St. Louis Avenue was investigated by animal control.

Officers assisted with a gas leak on Crescent Drive and conducted a welfare check on East Jackson Street.

Multiple residents visited or called the department with questions about property, peace disturbance, and possible theft.

A report of a child screaming in a car on Business 36 was due to a bee.  Officers also responded to a parking complaint on West Jackson and a domestic disturbance on Brunswick Street.
