Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office responded to a variety of calls during the first half of June.

Deputies investigated domestic disturbances on May 26th and June 8th—both found to be verbal only. On June 2nd, a resident reported a violation of a full protection order involving indirect contact; charges are under review. Deputies also handled a trespassing issue on June 3rd and two theft reports on June 9th and 10th, including a stolen license plate and missing property.

Arrests included:

  • Troy Blanton, 55, of Columbia, for alleged driving while revoked;
  • Ashton Karr, 33, of Chillicothe, for alleged DWI;
  • Marissa Hicks, 18, of Independence, for alleged speeding and expired registration;
  • Jeremiah Orona, 37, of Blue Springs, for alleged driving while revoked and drug possession;
  • Three individuals arrested in court on active warrants: Weldon Locke Jr., Barbee Faulconer-Laine, and Maxwell Johnston;
  • And Jose Hernandez, 34, of Iowa, for alleged speeding on U.S. 36.

Investigations are ongoing in several cases.
