Grand River Area Family YMCA CEO Theresa Hendrix announced her intention to retire at the end of 2025. Hendrix explained her reason for retiring.

Hendrix has been at the Chillicothe YMCA for the past 5 years. She says a lot has happened in that time.
Increased membership, programs, updated locker rooms, and got new equipment.
She explained the long process of finding a replacement.
Includes a search committee with local, national, and state YMCA representatives.
Hendrix says they hope to have a selection made in November to help with the transition.
