Area schools will be featured at Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery in March and April. Director, Mindy Stedem says they are happy to promote Youth Art Month.
Recognition of March as “Youth Art Month” began in 1961 through The Art & Creative Materials Institute, Inc. (ACMI) and is a celebration of visual arts as well as a month of promoting art and art education in the United States. It is observed in March, with thousands of American schools participating. Cultural Corner Art Guild & Gallery is excited to participate in Youth Art Month with works from Bishop Hogan Memorial School, Livingston County School District- Chula & Southwest R1 School District, on display through the month.
As a bonus, this month you also still have to opportunity to view Stefanie Aziere-Sattler exhibit of over 50 pieces of horsepower inspired art.
The Chillicothe schools will be featured in the month of April, with student works from each of the buildings.
