A Kansas City man had serious injuries in an accident on US 36, east of Mooresville Monday afternoon. Forty-year old Mark Ramer of Kansas City was taken to Hedrick Medical Center and later flown to St Luke’s on the Plaza for treatment of serious injuries. The accident happened shortly after 2:00 pm and the report states Ramer was westbound when he ran into the back of a semi trailer. The driver of the semi was not injured in the accident.
