Two Injured In Linn County Crash

A single vehicle crash in Linn County Sunday night left two injured.  State Troopers report the crash occurred on Husk Road, a mile west of Brookfield, as a 28-year-old woman from Chillicothe was westbound at about 10:50 pm and swerved to avoid a deer.  Her vehicle went off the road and overturned.

The driver was wearing a safety belt and had minor injuries.  She refused treatment at the scene.

The passenger, a 48-year-old man from Brookfield, was not wearing a safety belt and had moderate injuries.  He was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital for treatment.
