March 27th is declared Kevin Hoskins Day in the City of Chillicothe. As Hoskins prepares to retire after 40 years of service with the Chillicothe Fire Department, Chillicothe Mayor Reed Dupy signed a proclamation to make the declaration.
Hoskins joined the Fire Department in 1979 and served as an EMT, paramedic, firefighter, lieutenant and retires as Assistant Fire Chief.
Chillicothe Fire Chief Darrell Wright says they will be doing something special for Hoskins.
A reception for Hoskins will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on the 27th from 2-4 pm.
