More than 110 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday. Some of the calls include:
Officers responded to a commercial alarm, a reported traffic hazard, and several animal-related incidents — including catching a chicken under a vehicle and capturing loose dogs.
A pair of non-injury vehicle crashes were investigated, including one where a driver left the scene. A well being check and a parking complaint were also addressed.
Police took a fraud report involving misuse of a credit or debit card.
Later in the evening, officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving a knife. A 39-year-old woman was arrested for domestic assault and transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
