Local MoDOT Roadwork For The Week Of August 11th

Culvert replacement, resurfacing, and bridge projects continue around Northwest Missouri and in the local counties.  The local projects for the week on August 11^th include:

Caldwell County

Route D – CLOSED for a bridge replacement project at the Shoal Creek Bridge through September 2025.

US 36 – Pavement repair project, through August 17th. A single lane may be closed in up to 2-mile sections, around the clock. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place.

Carroll County

US 65 – Resurfacing project from US 36 in Chillicothe to south of Route CC near Carrollton, through October. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone

Chariton County

Route PP – CLOSED at the Mid-Fork Chariton River Bridge due to deterioration.

Daviess County

Route 6 – CLOSED for a bridge deck replacement project at the bridge over I-35 (Exit 64) through mid-September 2025.

Route 190 – CLOSED for a bridge replacement project at the Clear Creek Bridge, north of Lock Springs, through mid-November 2025. A detour is in place directing motorists to use US 65 and Missouri Route 6 around the closure.

I-35 – Pavement repair northbound driving lane from the 73.6-mile marker to the 75.6-mile marker, All Week.

Route VV – CLOSED for pothole patching from Route DD to 175^th Street, Monday – Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Route C – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from I-35 to Route 13, Thursday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Grundy County

Route J – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from 120^th Street to 110^th Street, Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route J – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from 120^th Street to 100^th Street, Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route BB – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from 100^th Street to 105^th Street, Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route BB – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Route J to 100^th Street, Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Linn County

US 36 – Pavement repair project, All Week.

Livingston County

US 65 – Resurfacing project from US 36 in Chillicothe to south of Route CC near Carrollton, through October. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone.

Sullivan County

Route PP – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Route W to Briar Drive, Monday – Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
