The Missouri Highway Patrol reports two crashes and one arrest in the area counties.
A single vehicle crash in Adair County Friday afternoon left two Green Castle residents injured. State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 2:30 pm on Highway 6, east of Green Castle. According to the report, a vehicle driven by a 54-year-old man was westbound and he ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and went off the left side of the road, struck a fence, and his vehicle overturned. The driver had moderate injuries, and a passenger, a 39-year-old woman, had minor injuries. They were taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment. They were not wearing safety belts.
At about 2:30 Saturday morning, Troopers in Daviess County investigated a single-vehicle crash that left a 40-year-old woman from Kansas City with moderate injuries. The report states the crash occurred when the woman was southbound on Interstate 35 near Cameron and she swerved to miss a deer. She lost control, and the vehicle went off the west side of the road and overturned. She was wearing a safety belt and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
A Galt man was arrested by State Troopers in Caldwell County Friday morning. Forty-two-year-old Troy L. Henrie was arrested for alleged DWI and on a Cameron warrant for alleged failure to appear on a charge of alleged property damage. He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the posting of bond.
