The Grand River Multi-Purpose Center will be returning to its newly renovated building next week. A Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting will be held on Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00 am, giving the public an opportunity to check out this newly renovated space. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am.
This is also an opportunity for the community to help them furnish it with appropriate and updated materials.
Director Theresa Sykes says that as a non-profit, they are strictly here to serve the community’s needs and are asking for monetary donations for updated furnishings.
The newly renovated facility will continue to offer services for Chillicothe and the surrounding areas. These include:
- Meals in person or delivered to homes- 45,000/year
- Exercise classes and evening social gatherings
- Cards and Puzzle Groups- socialization
- OATS Bus office and parking
- Counseling, tax services, immunizations, and more.
