The Chillicothe Police Department handled 107 calls for service on Thursday, August 21st.
Among the calls, officers issued several warnings during traffic stops, assisted with a medical emergency on Deringer Drive where a 28-year-old woman was transported to Hedrick Medical Center, and responded to two minor vehicle accidents — one on Woodrow Avenue and another at the middle school involving a bicycle and a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Police also investigated reports of suspicious activity, including an incident on East Jackson Street involving an elderly woman in a pickup approaching juveniles. Officers checked the area but found nothing.
Throughout the day, officers conducted five business security checks and responded to two alarm activations, both of which were determined to be non-emergencies.
The department reports no arrests or citations were issued.
