The Chillicothe Police Department reports several investigations, an accident and two citations for Wednesday.
6:55 am, Officers recovered two bicycles abandoned in the 1000 block of Graves Street. The bikes can be claimed at the Police Department.
11:40 am, possible animal neglect was reported in the area of JFK and Easton Street. Owner and Animal Control were contacted and a solution was reached for the animal.
1:50 pm, Officers took a report of possible fraudulent use of credit card to order food from the business. Investigation continuing with a possible suspect.
2:15 pm, an accident was investigated near Borden and Dorney Streets. The incident involved family members in a disagreement. No one was injured. One person was cited for careless driving and following too closely and another was cited for careless and imprudent driving.
7:45 pm, officers responded to a report of person slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle in the parking lot at 1000 Graves Street. The officer located the vehicle and it was found that the person was just taking a nap.
