Eleanor Scruby Fairweather 99, passed away July 26th, 2024 at Morningside Center, in Chillicothe Missouri. She was born on September 21, 1924 to loving parents Horace Scruby and Veda Step Scruby in Chillicothe, Missouri.
Eleanor loved to work in her garden, cook delicious meals for her friends and family, attending the opera and spending time around animals. Especially dogs!
Eleanor was a proud member of Edgewood Cemetery’s board, Livingston County’s Library, and the Humane Society.
Eleanor is survived by her brother, Dave Scruby Sr., her nephew Dave Scruby Jr. and niece Diane Scruby Bernero.
Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Fairweather, and her parents.
A graveside service for Eleanor Scruby Fairweather was held on the 2nd of August 2024 at 11a.m. at Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe, MO. Arrangements were under the care of Heritage Funeral Home.
