Steven Wayne Hurst

Steven Wayne Hurst, age 33, a resident of Trenton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, in Morris, Illinois. He was born on June 30, 1991, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. Steven was united in marriage to Dominique Jones, on March 11, 2011. She survives of the home.

 

Steven worked as a truck driver for Richland Motors Inc. He enjoyed anything with fast wheels. Working on cars and four wheelers was a great joy for him. He loved his dogs and rock and roll music. Steven always said, “His wife and his friends were his closest family.”

 

He is survived by his wife, Dominique, of the home; one brother, Charles Hurst (Ashley); four sisters, Amber Lynch (Christian), Shauna Hurst, Shelby Hurst and Hannah Hurst; four nephews and a niece on the way. He was preceded in death by one brother, Johnathon Hurst.

 

Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Steven Hurst Memorial Fund (please make checks payable to Lindley Funeral Home) and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
