In the Chillicothe Police Report for Friday, police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Burnam road on a report of a resident discharging mowed grass in the street. The resident was instructed to remove the grass clippings as per city ordinance.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves street on a follow up investigation of counterfeit $100 bills passed at a business along with other businesses in Chillicothe.
Officers investigated what was called a “minor” traffic accident on a private lot in the 100 block of South Washington Street.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a small dog being struck by a vehicle in the 1100 block of Washington Street. Officers removed the dog and turned it over to Animal Control.
Officers were dispatched at 7:21pm to a report of a vehicle with two juvenile males driving around pointing toy handguns out the window of the vehicle. Officers made contact with the juveniles and explained the hazards involved. The toy guns were disposed of.
