Chillicothe Police handled 143 calls for service Friday and reported one arrest.
8:27 AM, Officer responded to the 400 block of Polk Street for a well-being check. Officers checked on the resident who was fine.
8:45 AM, Officers responded to the 100 block of East Jackson for possible stealing that had occurred. The subject wished to wait to file a formal report at this time.
12:28 PM. Officers responded to the 800 Block of industrial drive for a stealing report. Further investigation is to continue in this case.
2:53 pm, Officers responded to the area of Calhoun Street and Woodward for a two vehicle accident. (right) One driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated resulting in an accident.
5:21 pm, Officers responded to the area of Calhoun Street and Dickenson for an animal complaint. Officers and the owner were able to capture the dog.
9:06 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street to check on 3 people with a sign with a possible child. They did not have a child, but did have a large dog.
9:39 pm, officers responded to the 2700 block of Washington for a possible assault that had occurred. It was determined that the assault happened in a different jurisdiction.
