The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report includes several investigations and arrests.
August 26th deputies began an investigation of alleged identity theft. Various resources have been contacted and working to help this person in multiple ways.
August 29th a Deputy and School Resource Officer began an investigation for alleged possession of marijuana by a student at a local school.
August 29th deputies began an investigation of a methamphetamine violation.
August 29th deputies began an investigation of burglary of a property where the owner is absent. The case is continuing.
August 29th, deputies completed an alleged Sex Offender Registration Violation investigation. The report was sent to the prosecuting attorney.
Arrests in the report include:
32 year old William Dale Estes on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions. Bond set at $50,000.
33 year old Devon A. Hand of Chillicothe was arrested for the alleged Driving While Suspended.He was processed and released.
A deputy stopped to assist a motorist that took off into the weeds. The man was identified as 39 year old Jay Deshazier of Utica, and they found he had two warrants. He was arrested for alleged Failure to Register Motor Vehicle and alleged Failure to Appear on Excessive Speed. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
August 28th, deputies extradited 29 year old Charles Spencer Henson from Chariton County, on a Livingston County warrant for 4 traffic offenses. He was also held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
