Nine north Missouri students received nominations to Military Academies. U.S. Representative Sam Graves announced United States Military Service Academy nominations for students in Missouri’s Sixth Congressional District. Each year, members of Congress are tasked with selecting qualified students from their respective districts to attend one of America’s prestigious military academies. This year one of those nominees is from Chillicothe.
Graves says he has already notified each student by phone of their nomination. The students from North Missouri who received nominations are, in alphabetical order:
Sydney Boutz, Parkville – US Naval Academy
Jacob Brown, Weston – US Naval Academy
Murphy Corum, Kansas City – US Air Force Academy
Kellen Dewey, Louisiana – US Merchant Marine Academy
Charles Hill, Kansas City – US Military Academy
Braden Presser, Liberty – US Naval Academy
Gabriel Spencer, Platte City – US Naval Academy
Benjamin Thimjon, Kansas City – US Military Academy
Isaac Washburn, Chillicothe – US Air Force Academy
