The hiring of two E911 Dispatchers was approved by the Chillicothe City Council in an executive session. Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples presented the candidates. The Council hired Casey Barnes and Steve Downing with starting pay of $15.00 per hour. Barns started on March 14th. Downing will start on March 23rd.
The action leaves the Dispatch Center one short of full staff.
