The North Missouri Solid Waste Management District will hold a Regional Planning Meeting next Wednesday, September 17th, at Chillicothe City Hall. The meeting is scheduled from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
The district is inviting public input on the Regional Plan Update. The district is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to manage solid waste in its 11-county region.
Attendees will be able to review the proposed plan, ask questions, and provide input on topics that include recycling, waste disposal options, waste reduction, needs for rural communities, and hazardous household waste.
