Richmond Woman Seriously Injured in Ray County Crash

A Richmond woman was seriously hurt in a crash Friday afternoon in Ray County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened at about 12:20 p.m. when a 1993 Chevrolet truck, driven by a 52-year-old woman, went off the right side of the roadway. She over-corrected, sending the truck off the left side of the road where it overturned.

The driver sustained serious injuries and was flown by air ambulance to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City.
