The Chillicothe Police Department report for Friday through Sunday includes 219 calls for service.
On Friday, officers responded to a well-being check on a juvenile, a domestic disturbance, and a theft case where the stolen item was recovered, but no charges were filed. They also handled a minor vehicle accident and attempted to serve a warrant.
Saturday’s calls included two false business alarms, a minor crash with no injuries, an assault report that remains under investigation, and an arrest for driving while intoxicated. Officers also responded to an illegal burn.
On Sunday, officers made another DWI arrest, responded to two disturbances, and assisted EMS and the Coroner with a call for a person who was found deceased. Later, they investigated a property damage report, which remains under investigation.
